Role Purpose
Manage critical Quality Governance activities, including planning and leading internal audits of our Quality Management System. This involves conducting audits, managing correction actions, and supporting all Quality Governance objectives to drive continuous improvement.

This role is based at our Prestwick site and offers:

Responsibilities
* Plan, allocate resources, and conduct audits of the Quality Management System.
* Maintain customer and regulatory approvals (e.g., AS9100, EASA/CAA Part 21G, Nadcap).
* Report on the effectiveness of the Quality Governance system, identify improvements, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Manage quality procedures, instructions, and documentation.
* Support creation and maintenance of Quality Plans for new customers.
* Lead new approval projects.
* Authorize Quality approvals using certification stamps.
* Investigate and implement new Quality Governance systems.
* Develop and deliver Quality training materials.
* Provide technical support to IPTs and other functions.
* Develop the skills of the Quality Governance team.
* Manage delegated source inspections.
* Deploy the Quality Policy aligned with Spirit's global strategy and regulations.
* Generate and deploy Quality Metrics to support business goals.
Qualifications and Experience
* At least 5 years of experience in a quality or engineering role.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to verify key requirements.
* HNC/HND in Quality or related Engineering discipline, or relevant experience.
* Preferably AS9100 Lead Auditor certification.
* Familiarity with industry approvals and certifications (AS9100, CAA, Nadcap).
* Experience in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement tools.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
Decision-Making Authority
The role may include responsibility for direct and indirect reports, with authority to lead teams, schedule work, and approve quality results. Decisions affecting projects, customers, or suppliers require appropriate approvals from the Team Leader.
