About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher to work within our specialist unit, focusing on supporting children withmunication and interaction needs. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils withmunication and interaction difficulties.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, to develop and implement effective strategies.
3. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages confidence and independence.
5. Engage with parents and carers to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's development.
About You:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching.
7. Strong understanding ofmunication and interaction challenges, including autism spectrum conditions.
8. Excellent interpersonal andmunication skills.
9. A creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
