Software Engineering
At Williams, bespoke software tools quietly power performance across the car, delivering impact you can feel, not always see. The Software Development Team creates these tools, working in focused sub-teams to support key areas like Aerodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics, and Vehicle Performance. Together, they turn data into decisions and innovation into speed.
Enterprise Systems
The engine - our control centre powering core processes across planning, design, supply chain, manufacturing, and finance. We leverage industry-leading solutions and seamless integration to drive down delivery lead times. We buy the best tools and then build a fully connected system around them.
We are hiring for the following roles:
* Software Engineer / Data Engineer Industrial Placement
Join our team at Williams Racing to build and enhance bespoke software solutions that support Engineering and Operations across the organisation. Working in focused sub-teams aligned to areas such as Aerodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics, and Vehicle Performance, you’ll help turn data into decisions and innovation into speed. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to collaborate with engineers, understand user needs, and deliver impactful tools that drive performance.

* Enterprise Systems - ERP Industrial Placement
Join our Enterprise Systems team at Williams Racing to support and improve the IT systems that power car performance and delivery. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and implement system solutions that meet the evolving needs of Engineering and Operations. This placement offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the systems that underpin Formula 1 performance.

* Proficient in Excel, with an understanding of PLM and ERP systems (advantageous but not essential).

* Enterprise Systems - Powerapps Industrial Placement
Be part of Williams Racing’s Enterprise Systems team, helping design and deliver smart digital solutions that support car design, manufacturing, and performance. You’ll work closely with users to identify system needs, resolve issues, and contribute to the development and deployment of tools that enhance operational efficiency. This hands-on role offers exposure to CAD, ERP, and PowerApps-based systems in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

* Studying a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Experience with C# programming and familiarity with API/JSON integration.
* Awareness of enterprise platforms such as Teamcenter, NX, and D365 is highly desirable.
* A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
* Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset and a passion for motorsport technology.
