With arobust and growing portfolio of auditclients, we are now seeking an ambitious Audit Managertojoinusinakeyleadershippositiontohelpstructureandleadourauditfunctionfor the next stage of our firm's growth.
Thisisahigh-visibilityrolewhereyouwillworkdirectlywiththepartnerstoshapeouraudit methodologies and take ownership of a high-quality client portfolio.
TheRole:
Wearelookingforsomeonewhoenjoysthetechnicalchallengeofleadingcomplexauditsinthe field while also possessing the leadership skills to manage and develop a talented team.
Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:
Hands-OnLeadership:Leadtheplanningandexecutionofcomplexauditassignments, includinggroup consolidations and OMBs.
Taking fullownershipof auditassignments frominitialplanningandrisk assessment through to final completion.
Actingastheprimaryon-sitecontactforclients,resolvingqueriesindependentlywhere possible.
Reducing Director-level involvementbyprovidinghigh-quality, \"review-ready\"auditfiles
FlexiblePortfolio:Wearehappytotailorthisroletoyourexpertisewhetheryouprefera 100% Audit focus or a Mixed Portfolio including preparation of statutory accounts and tax.
DepartmentManagement:Manageresourceallocationandteamcapacityforouraudit department ensuring seamless delivery for our clients.
TechnicalExcellence:Actasakeytechnicalpointofcontact, workingwiththe RIto ensurecompliancewithUK GAAP.
Aboutyou:
Qualified:ACA/ACCAqualifiedwithprovenexperienceatamanagerorassistant managerlevel.
Growth-Minded:Youarelookingforarolewhereyoucanhavearealimpactonhowa department is structured and run.
Technically Sharp: You have a strong background in auditing owner-managed businesses and are comfortablewith the \"hands-on\" natureof a smaller-sized practice.
