The Role
The Lost Estate is seeking a visionary Sales & Marketing Director to take the helm of our growth engine and steer it through the most exciting chapter in our company’s journey to date.
TLE is the UK’s leading immersive performance and hospitality company. A genre-breaking fusion of performance, world-building, and premium hospitality - one that’s already welcomed over 250,000 guests, bootstrapped its way to £20 million in revenue, and defined a new category in the world of immersive leisure.
Now, we’re scaling. Across the UK. Into the US. From £20m to £50m+. And we’re looking for a strategic, creative, and data-driven leader to shape and deliver that growth.
This is a central leadership role, reporting directly to the founders, with full P&L ownership of our omni-channel marketing function and a direct hand in our sales and box office operations. You’ll build the team, define the strategy, and drive the commercial success of a truly unique entertainment brand.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Growth Strategy & Planning
* Define and own our omni-channel marketing strategy across every TLE property and region.
* Build clear forecasts, budgets, and a performance-driven marketing calendar.
* Set aggressive ROAS and ticket-volume targets - and deliver them.
Go-to-Market Leadership
* Orchestrate seamless new show launches across Marketing, Sales, Box Office, Design, and agency partners.
* Craft and manage the rollout of brand positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity for every new TLE experience.
Beyond Paid: Broader Marketing
* Drive strategic initiatives across PR, SEO/content marketing, membership, organic social, and top-of-funnel media.
* Own key agency relationships and ensure consistent, high-quality brand delivery across all digital touchpoints.
Performance, Tech, Insight
* Implement a best-in-class tech stack for marketing ops, analytics, attribution, and performance tracking.
* Deliver regular board-ready reporting on KPIs, ROAS, and strategic insights.
* Champion a data-driven marketing culture.
Leadership & Culture
* Lead a growing multi-disciplinary team across performance marketing, box office, and sales.
* Mentor, inspire, and build a results-focused, creatively ambitious department.
* Own hiring and people strategy across your function.

* You help make TLE a household name - not just through revenue, but through brand impact and audience love.
You Should Have...
* 7+ years leading (at director level or similar) omni-channel marketing in a DTC or brand-led environment - ideally in the leisure, entertainment, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
* Proven success scaling brands from the £20-50m revenue mark (ideally on to £100m+).
* Hands-on experience with paid social, analytics stacks, testing frameworks, and creative strategy.
* Elite project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
* A track record of building omni-channel teams that deliver both commercially and creatively.
