Residential Child Care Worker (Ref: TBC)
Salary Band 8: £32,061 - £34,434 Band 9: £35,412 - £38,220 Salary Band £30,001 to £40,000

The Residential Child Care Worker is responsible for acting as a corporate parent for children looked after by the local authority, championing their needs in accordance with the Children's Homes Regulations, and ensuring they are nurtured, happy, healthy, and safe, developing and thriving to their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing and coordinating high-quality care for children with complex and additional needs.
* Extending support to children’s families, carers, and professionals.
* Working within a residential care setting, including shift work, sleep overs, bank holidays, and weekend working.
* Supporting the implementation of Level 3 Diploma for Residential Child Care as required.
Qualifications and experience:
* Experience working with children and young people in a residential care or related setting.
* Band 8: willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Child Care.
* Band 9: hold a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Child Care or equivalent.
