Junior Transport Planner: An exciting opportunity has risen in our expanding business for a professional, motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our dynamic Transport Department to contribute towards the day to day running of the business. Theroleisdiversewithresponsibilitiesrangingfrom: General Administrative Duties; Answering and making phone calls to Customers, Suppliers, Drivers and other third parties, Assistinmanagingemailenquiries,sendingandreceivinginformationfrom(newandexisting) Customers, Suppliers, drivers and other third parties, Accepting and dealing with customers orders, tracking orders and continually providing customers with updates. About the Applicant: Desirable Skills; Previous Administrative or Transport Planning Experience in a transport office, GSCEQualifications-EnglishCorabove EssentialSkills An interest / knowledge in the Transport Sector with minimum 1 years experience in this sector, Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills, CompetentuseofMS Office-particularlyMicrosoftExcelandOutlook, Organisationalskills,including;Goodtimekeepingandprioritizingtasks, Highattentiontodetail,professional&approachable, Canworkaspartofa teamaswellasusingtheirowninitiative-positivecandoattitude, Canworkunderpressuretomeetdeadlinesforthebusiness,customersanddrivers Willingtoadapttochangingsituations. Hours of work is 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday- pending on the business needs Saturdays maybe required.
