Overview Humly North West is looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Wigton. You will be working within an Upper Key Stage 2 class, primarily supporting two or three pupils who are currently working at a Year 2/3 level. Starting in early May, you will work four and a half days per week for the duration of the Summer term. We need someone who can adapt learning materials to bridge the gap for these students and help them stay engaged with their peers. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys small-group support and wants to provide the consistency these pupils need to thrive until the summer holidays. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations. Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting. Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere. Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school. Candidate Profile Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector. Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
