Overview
Based at our clinic in Bridgwater you'll enjoy working in a supportive and specialised environment.
In your Out of Hours role, you will be supporting dentists in providing dental care for any patient accessing the Out of Hours service for dental pain, including patients who may show challenging behaviour. Your compassionate communication skills will be key in supporting and communicating with these patients when anxious or distressed, their carers and relatives. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to patients when they need care the most.
You will be working alongside the dentist during Out of Hours clinics, often as their sole support in the clinical setting. This requires a high level of confidence, clinical competence within your scope of practice as a dental nurse, and the ability to be able to support with challenging situations. Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to work across various areas of dental care following appropriate training. If appropriately qualified, you will also be responsible for taking and processing dental radiographs, including OPTs, and maintaining the associated equipment.
If you\'re committed to providing exceptional and compassionate dental care, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact to patients seeking urgent care and be part of a team that values your dedication and compassion.
