The Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic football coach to lead our weekly football sessions for children in Year 1 and Year 2, helping them take their first steps in the sport. As the entry point into the club's player pathway, this role is vital in ensuring a fun, engaging, and structured introduction to football.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead fun and engaging weekly football sessions for Year 1 & Year 2 children.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment where every child feels encouraged.
* Deliver age-appropriate coaching sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment.
* Follow and promote the club's ethos to support player development.
* Encourage young players to progress into one of the club's teams.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are met at all times.
Requirements
* A minimum FA Coaching Qualification (FA Level 1 or above) or willingness to complete with support of the club.
* A passion for working with young children and helping them develop a love for football.
* Ability to create fun, structured and engaging sessions.
* Commitment to upholding the values and standards of Lillington Juniors FC.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection in football.
