This is a newly established, high-impact role offering a unique opportunity to influence strategic direction and drive lasting, positive change across the organisation.\n\nAs Head of Change and Transformation, you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative change programmes that align with our long-term strategic goals. You will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement, drive operational excellence, and enhance the internal stakeholder experience. A key part of your role will be engaging stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment, buy-in, and clear communication throughout the transformation journey.
You will oversee the successful delivery of all corporate\nservices projects, ensuring they are integrated, prioritised, and sequenced to deliver maximum organisational benefit. Please visit our Advice for Candidates webpage to find this guidance and further support in completing your application form.\n\nThe Role\nReporting into the Assistant Director for People and Transformation, your key responsibilities will\ninclude:\n• Applying a structured methodology such as Kotter's 8-Step Change Model, the ADKAR Model, the\nMcKinsey 7-S Model or the Bridges Transition Model to lead and support all transformational\nchange activities across the organisation.\n• Developing and delivering an investment pipeline of transformational projects with programmes\nthat further the organisations ability to deliver outcomes through a thriving and resilient culture.\n• Take a cross organisational view that identifies and considers interdependencies and impacts\nacross the organisation with a focus on smarter working practices.\n• Work closely with the Head of People and Organisational Development to deliver initiatives that\nenable services to meet the organisation’s growth ambitions and strategic outcomes.\n• Lead the Transformation team by setting and aligning objectives and outcomes, ensuring the team’s structure and capabilities are optimally aligned to deliver the Combined Authority’s corporate priorities and mission-led goals.\n\nPlease review the Role Profile for more information about the responsibilities.\n\nAbout You\nYou will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:\n• Educated to degree/postgraduate qualification level with supporting management training and/or relevant practicable experience.
