Early Years Practitioner – Hull
Location: Hull
Hours: Full-time / Part-time (flexible)
Pay: £90 – £120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly early years team in Hull. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
* Build positive, supportive relationships with children and families
* Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
* Complete observations and contribute to children’s development records
* Ensure safeguarding, health, safety, and wellbeing standards are consistently met
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant Early Years qualification (minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years or equivalent)
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
* A caring, patient, reliable, and professional approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
DBS Requirement:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or
* Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS and join the Update Service before starting
Desirable:
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
