Description Key Accountabilities & Role Requirements: Underwriting individual risks Underwrite at the Lloyd’s box Manage coverholder relationships through regular dialogue Keep abreast of legal changes in key territories and their impact on our portoflio Travel to see coverholders, clients and brokers in key territories Managing market dynamics through the market cycle Pipeline and development of opportunities with key brokers Managing internal stakeholders Work within agreed Underwriting Authority and Westfield Specialty International Underwriting framework Deputise for the Head of International Liability where required Cross sell with other lines of business (particularly Property / FinPro) Working with colleagues to train and develop more junior colleagues Skills & Competencies Required: Proven experience underwriting GL risks in the Lloyd’s or international insurance market. Strong technical knowledge of GL related risk. Understanding of market cycles, broker dynamics, and regulatory environment within Lloyd’s and global insurance markets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience in General Liability Insurance.
