This is a fantastic Electrical Engineering Design Consultant opportunity to work with a leading technology services organisation, delivering critical electrical design projects across EMEA data center sites.
The Electrical Engineering Design Consultant is a hybrid working role, ideally able to commute to London area, as well as able and willing to travel to other regional sites across EMEA as required.
As an Electrical Engineering Design Consultant, you will provide subject matter expertise across HV, MV, and LV electrical design for global data centre programmes. The Electrical Engineering Design Consultant will lead design reviews, support third-party consultants, and ensure compliance with global electrical standards. Working across international, multidisciplinary teams, the Electrical Engineering Design Consultant will influence technical decisions, optimise electrical systems, and support standardisation at scale. The ideal Electrical Engineering Design Consultant will have strong data centre or mission-critical experience, advanced electrical analysis capability, and proven ability to operate as a trusted technical authority, with the Electrical Engineering Design Consultant role suited to candidates comfortable working across regions and stakeholders.
Key Skills as Electrical Engineering Design Consultant:
* Qualified Electrical Engineer with 5+ years’ relevant experience
* Deep knowledge of HV, MV, and LV electrical design for critical infrastructure.
* Extensive background in data centre or mission-critical engineering environments.
* Experience reviewing designs and guiding third-party consultants.
* Strong capability in electrical analysis and system coordination.
* Proficient with CAD and BIM design tools.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
