As a
Mechanical Shift Technician
, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our operating equipment. Your expertise will help us troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and support our operations team in achieving optimal performance. Join us in making a difference! Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment
with precision to ensure smooth operations. Perform Preventative Maintenance (PMs)
with minimal guidance, keeping our equipment in top shape. Support operations
in equipment setup and train operators in Autonomous Maintenance. Document work orders
using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance for accurate record-keeping. Adhere to safety procedures
, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and Confined Space Procedures. What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience is essential. Education:
An Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant certifications (CMfgE, CMRT, HVAC). Practical Experience:
Apprenticeships, internships, or co-op programs in mechanical trades. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, machining, and mechanical systems. Hands-On Approach:
A self-driven attitude with the ability to prioritize workloads effectively. Team Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in teams, sharing insights and collaborating on improvements. Working Conditions
Shifts:
Monday to Friday, rotating shifts from 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm. Salary:
£38,800 - £43,600 (inclusive of shift allowance), dependent on experience. Type:
