Senior sous chef
With a minimum of 5 years kitchen experience in established restaurants.
Stuzzi is a small plates Italian inspired restaurant, With monthly changing menus, derived around freshness and produce. Locally sourced or imported quality is key.
Championing all the various styles of Italian cuisine, from classical dishes, street food and newer modern dishes. We make all pasta, pastry and bread in house too.
We also produce a lot of Stuzzi branded retail items on site.
We also have various arms of the company which involve outside catering events, Markets and pop ups around Yorkshire.
As sous chef you will be needed to assist the head chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and become a strong member of Stuzzi Leeds management team. Guide and teach the younger team and assist directors on external projects.
* Must have a good base knowledge of making food from scratch including bread, sauces, and desserts.
* Have management experience in running a kitchen.
* An awareness on pastry and bread production.
* Be interested in fresh pasta
* Costings, food margins and stock control
* Outside catering/ Event experience.
We are looking for a sous chef who can slot into an already established kitchen, with a fantastic working environment with plenty of potential to move into different areas and arms of the business and with future projects too.
Job details:
Pay: £34000 per year salary.
* Paid every 2 weeks on the Tuesday.
* Tronc on top of salary. £8000-£10000 on average based on 45 hour week.
* No split shifts
* Overtime paid over 45hr contract
