Area Sales Representative – Travis Perkins plc
We are looking for a self‑driven Area Sales Representative based in the Swindon area of Wiltshire. This role offers the chance to build relationships with customers, showcase your sales skills, and introduce new customers to Travis Perkins.

Responsibilities
* Reactivate dormant and low‑spending accounts, and find new business in an allocated area, coordinating all aspects of pricing and account development
* Remain out on the road, meeting customers face to face, building long‑lasting relationships and developing new sales opportunities
* Set and achieve sales and profit targets from allocated existing customers and new business
* Play a key part of a wider network team, supporting branches in winning in their local area
* Work with the Head of Sales to identify development needs and build a plan to maximise performance
Qualifications & experience
* Passion for sales, customer service, initiative, energy and enthusiasm; knowledge of our industry and products preferred but not essential
* Previous experience within merchanting advantageous; if new to industry will be supported
* Strong relationship‑building with multiple customers and internal stakeholders, previously in a field‑based role
* Full UK driving licence with at least one year of driving experience
