SpireBushey Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ward Nurse tojoin our team as a Senior Nurse/ Team Lead on a full time, 12 month fixed termcontract.

Our theatre team cover a wide variety of specialtiesincluding Ortho, Bariatric, General, Gyane, ENT, Urology, Plastics,Ophthalmics, Spinal.

Main duties of the job
Supportthe ward manager with the management and leadership of the team as thedepartment expands and grows
Carryout individualised nursing care and procedures to the highest standardscomplying with hospital policies and procedures at all times
Chaperoneand assist Consultants during examination of the patient's and surgicalprocedures and assists in arranging investigations requested by Consultants
Carryout any other duties delegated by the Ward Manager / team leader for the properand efficient care of the patient's and the smooth running of the department
Youwill be responsible for risk assessments and Datix investigations
Developown knowledge and skills and that of others.
Promotebest practice in health and safety and security.
Assist in maintaining anddeveloping services.

Job responsibilities
Who we are looking for:
Registered Adult Nurse with at least 2-3 years registration experience
Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical
knowledge acquired through state registration.
Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
Strong leadership skills
Efficient with workload
Experience in Outpatients or a similar setting is desirable
