Academics Ltd are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join our team on a long-term supply basis in Staines. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional SALT to support children across Staines primary schools, ensuring they receive the intervention and guidance needed to thrive in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
As a Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) you will:

Deliver tailored therapy sessions to children in local primary schools with a range of communication needs.

Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to embed effective communication strategies into the classroom.
*
Carry out assessments, create therapy plans, and monitor pupil progress across Staines schools.
*
Support children with speech sound difficulties, language delay, and social communication challenges.
*
Provide staff training and advice to ensure best practice for supporting children’s speech and language development.
Requirements
*
Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
*
HCPC registration (or working towards).
*
Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting in or around Staines.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to adapt and tailor therapy plans to meet a variety of needs.
