What this job involves
As a Engineering Statutory Compliance and Transitions Director -UK you will support the Head of Engineering Compliance and Assurance in ensuring that all JLL and its subsidiaries in EMEA comply with all relevant in country engineering and compliance legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance that may have an impact to the business.
Act as the Ambassador of Compliance in EMEA
1. Act as a regional Statutory Compliance SME as well as leading the standardisation required by the global platform.
2. Support in defining, developing, disseminating, and assuring the appropriate engineering standards and statutory compliance for all Engineering accounts in EMEA.
3. Lead development and adoption of engineering statutory compliance, standards, guidance, training materials in EMEA
4. Provide Management Information reporting and analysis to assure the EMEA business that statutory compliance requirements are being delivered to the required standard.
5. Work with key including but not limited to JLL Senior Authorizing Engineer, JLL Engineering Transition Lead HSSE, Quality, Sourcing, Technology, Account Management, and leadership to establish platforms and forums where initiatives and best practice can be shared and a common/unified approach between functions, accounts can be established.
6. Contribute to the global statutory compliance playbook so it directs to and demonstrates the JLL minimum global standards alongside the tools and ways of work required to support the regional statutory compliance strategy.
Act as the Technical SME for the JLL Compliance Assurance Programme
7. Work with other COE verticals such as RE and AM and Digital Operations to ensure a pragmatic and sustainable methodology is developed and adopted for tracking engineering statutory compliance requirements emerging from YGP
8. Share best practice and identify opportunities to improve JLL’s strategic approach to managing statutory compliance
9. Act as single point of contact for JCAP for EMEA Accounts and leverage the Engineering team to provide support to accounts in understanding and responding to JCAP
10. Coordinate with Account Executives and Account Leadership in EMEA to present JCAP dashboards periodically in Account Leadership meetings alongside head of Engineering EMEA
11. Obtain complete global reporting access to JCAP Dashboards with sponsorship from Head of Engineering and provide insights and analysis on internal Engineering leadership meetings
12. Assisting sites with non-standard audits such as GMP for Good Manufacturing Process (Pharma), FDA - US Food and Drugs Administration and ONR - the Office for Nuclear Regulation, for handling certain nuclear materials.
Assist in developing and maintaining the Statutory Compliance Portal and associated documents for EMEA regions.
13. Lead the development and usage of the global engineering YGP statutory compliance portal in EMEA.
14. Support the development, implementation, and usage of the engineering YGP global statutory compliance portal across EMEA.
