Are you a Service Engineer with experience in telecare, warden call, or life safety systems?
We’re looking for engineers who have worked with systems similar to those used by providers such as Appello, Tynetec, or Tunstall Healthcare and are looking for a role where you can apply your skills across a wider range of safety-critical technologies.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of telecare and fire & security systems, ensuring they remain fully operational, compliant, and reliable.
You’ll work across a defined patch covering:
* Basingstoke
* Swindon
* Oxford
Applicants should ideally live within 45 minutes of Basingstoke to support efficient coverage of this region.
You’ll operate independently in the field, with occasional visits to the Basingstoke hub for team collaboration, training, and stock collection.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on:
* Telecare / Warden Call systems
* Fire alarm systems
* Access control systems
* Diagnose and resolve faults on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to clients
* Carry out routine inspections, compliance checks, and remedial works
* Support installations and system upgrades where required
* Ensure all work meets SLA and regulatory compliance standards
* Maintain accurate service records and reports
* Liaise with clients, housing providers, and internal teams
* Deliver a high level of customer service, particularly in sensitive environments (e.g. assisted living)
* Manage and maintain company vehicle, tools, and stock
What We’re Looking For
We’re particularly interested in engineers with backgrounds in:
* Telecare / Warden Call systems
* Assisted living technologies
* Social housing or healthcare environments
Essential:
* Experience working with telecare systems (or similar life safety systems)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Confident working independently in the field
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
