I am currently on behalf of a well-respected Law Firm in Eastbourne who are looking for a Legal Assistant to join their busy and hard working team.
You will be working directly for one of the Partners of the firm, and working within the Residential Conveyancing department. The client offers a fabulous office location, with the potential to grow and develop your long-term career.
This Legal Assistant position duties.
1. Preparing correspondence and documents and letters
2. Dealing with clients both face to face and over the phone
Residential Conveyancing duties will include:
3. Preparation of Contracts
4. Involvement with Exchanges / completions
5. General conveyancing work (including Title Documents, calculation of apportionments)
About You:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a legal firm in a similar role, and knowledge of Conveyancing.
The client is open to someone who has recently qualified and is looking to develop their knowledge
6. Must have excellent attention to detail in your work
7. A keen eye for detail to work within this dept.
8. A great work ethic
9. Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
10. Excellent punctuation and grammar
11. Strong PC skills
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:45 – 17:30 (1hr 15min lunch break)
