Overview
Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be working with recycled metals and preparing them for further processing. This is a crucial role in our factory and requires an eye for detail by ensuring our core products are presented to the next stage in our process in the best possible form.
This department runs a 4x4 shift pattern - work 4 days (days or night) then 4 off.
We have both Day (5am to 5pm) and Night Shift (working 5pm to 5am) positions available.
Each 12-hour shift typically runs with 5 team members and covers a wide range of related activities ensuring production targets are achieved.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be strong and physically fit, reliable and have a positive can-do attitude. Previous experience in an industrial setting would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
* Ensure core products are presented to the next stage in the process in the best possible form.
* Work 4x4 shift pattern (4 days on, 4 off) on Day or Night shifts.
* Operate within a team of 5 per 12-hour shift, covering related activities to meet production targets.
Requirements
* Physically strong and fit; reliable with a positive can-do attitude.
* Previous experience in an industrial setting is advantageous.
* Permanent rights to live and work in New Zealand.
