Systems Analyst/ Data Analyst, Investment Management / FTC 12-month £90-£100k
Are you an experienced eFront specialist with a passion for optimising systems and data in the financial services sector?
I am partnered with an Investment Management Firm looking to add a proactive and detail-oriented Systems & Data Analyst to be the driving force behind a core investment management platform and enhance the reporting capabilities.
This is a pivotal role in the strategy to build scalable, technology-enabled operations. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and significantly enhance reporting across the firm.
What You'll Do:
* Platform Ownership: Become the primary in-house expert and administrator for the investment management platform (eFront), managing configurations, user permissions, and ongoing maintenance. You'll also work closely with our fund administrator to ensure data consistency and timely uploads.
* Data & Reporting Excellence: Support the automation of internal and external reporting, leveraging eFront and our data warehouse. You'll design and maintain critical dashboards, queries, and extracts for various business users (Finance, Deal Teams, Compliance, etc.), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements across Finance and Loan Operations, streamlining workflows, reducing manual effort, and boosting data visibility. You'll also lead system-related aspects of key projects, including outsourcing transitions and regulatory reporting improvements.
* Vendor & Integration Management: Coordinate with eFront support and other third-party providers to resolve issues and implement upgrades. You'll facilitate seamless system integrations and data exchange between internal and outsourced systems.
* Strategic Contribution: Play a key role in our broader technology strategy, contributing to readiness for AI-enabled tools, automation, and business intelligence platforms. You'll participate in or lead system-related workstreams during major change initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
* Proven eFront Expertise: Significant experience administering or working extensively with eFront, ideally within a private credit or alternative investments environment.
* Strong Analytical Skills: A solid background in systems and data analysis, including experience with relational databases (SQL is a plus). You're comfortable working with large datasets and drawing actionable insights.
* Financial Services Context: Experience supporting finance, fund accounting, or loan operations teams within a financial services firm.
* Reporting Prowess: Strong Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
* Exceptional Communication: The ability to clearly and confidently explain complex technical issues to non-technical users and translate business needs into technical requirements.
* Problem-Solving Mindset: You're proactive, detail-oriented, and take initiative to identify root causes, proposing practical, scalable solutions.
* Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively across diverse teams such as Fund Finance, Loan Operations, and Deal Teams.
