Receptionist / Driver(Urgent Care and GP Out of Hours) Are you a patient focused problem solver, have customer service and IT skills? The Urgent Care Service provides cover for GP Out of Hours and Minor Injuries a across Oxfordshire. This role is offered on a part time basis with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week up to full time 37.5 hours per week. Evenings/weekends/bank holidays work is required. Shifts will be across the 6 bases of the service (Abingdon, Bicester, Banbury, Oxford, Witney, Henley) taking into consideration distance. Main shifts currently available are overnights in Banbury and Oxford (23:00-08:00) but several weekend and evening shifts are available around the county. The cover needed is between 18:15 and 08:00 every day and 18:15 on Friday to 08:00 on Monday (or day after BH) with shifts of 5 hours, extendable up to 13 hours. Overnight period starts at 23:00 and terminates at 8:00. There might be some extra offer for shifts during the day in the MIUs to cover for holidays and sickness of relevant receptionist and extra shifts available via NHSP. The role is dual, both reception and driving skills are required. Day and evening shifts are both a receptionist and a driver, while during the night the successful candidate will be required to cover both roles (reception, administrative duties and driving the GP/Clinician in case of a Home Visit). Main duties of the job * Undertake any general administrative and reception work in MIU, FAU and GP OOH as required. * Ensure that consulting rooms and reception areas are kept tidy and adequately equipped at the start and end of each shift, including shredding of all patients' notes * Liaise with the Duty Desk Administrator and the Patient Flow Coordinator to ensure a safe and efficient patient centred service * Answering the phone, including the HCP line and the EOL line and adding patients to the system when required * Ensure medications and prescriptions are kept secure at all time and escalate concerns to the Urgent Care Coordinator Working for our organisation Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provides physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset.
