Production Operator – Green Mill \n BSW Timber – Corpach, Fort William, PH33 7AP \n Rotating Shift Patterns (6pm-6am Mon-Fri / 6am-6pm Thurs-Wed, including sat 6am-12pm \n Full-time / Permanent \n Due to our continued and exciting growth, we are looking to recruit a Production Operator to join our workforce across the BSW Timber site in Corpach, Fort William. \n Some responsibilities of a Production Operator may include: \n As a Production Operative, you’ll enjoy a variety of duties ranging from manual handling of timber to operating state of art sawmilling machinery. Working towards set production targets, whatever duty you’re assigned we’ll expect you to contribute to the creation of quality timber products – on time and to specification – whilst following appropriate health & safety practices.
\n Manual Handling of timber. \n Working towards and maintaining set production targets. \n Operating mobile plant machinery.
\n Ideally, we’re seeking a motivated individual who is quality focused and understands the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained, and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. You will be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude and be willing to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
