Overview
ALPINE RACING LIMITED – Health, Safety and Environment Officer. Based at our facility in Enstone, Oxfordshire, the HSE Officer champions occupational safety and environmental best practices across cutting-edge motorsport and manufacturing operations, supporting a high-performance team where safety, sustainability and innovation drive everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the subject matter expert in occupational safety engineering, ensuring compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all operational areas.
* Develop and implement safe systems of work and safety procedures.
* Enhance safety awareness and competence of managers and employees.
* Deliver safety-related training and identify ongoing training needs.
* Monitor compliance with HSE legislation and internal policies.
* Investigate incidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and reports.
* Liaise with external regulatory bodies and ensure statutory reporting.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
* Conduct HSE inductions for new team members.
* Promote environmental protection and support equality, diversity and inclusion goals.
What We’re Looking For
* NEBOSH Certificate and IEMA Foundation Certificate (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in occupational safety, ideally in manufacturing or motorsport.
* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management.
* Experience developing and implementing safe systems of work.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to influence a positive safety culture and environmental awareness.
* Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
