These include youth work, sport, culture, events, parks, leisure centres, and community centres. As well as exploring further ways to embed our locality approach to maximised place potential to support young people become active citizens in their community.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. You should have a qualification relevant to working with children and young people and have demonstrable experience working with disadvantaged and vulnerable groups and supporting them in employment, education, and training.
We asked a group of young people what skills, experience and character they think the ideal candidate should have, they said the ideal worker should have a friendly, fun and happy personality and previous experience of working with children and young people.
