At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for PEV Mechanic to work with an important company in Milton Keynes - leading smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.
Shift Patterns
* Mon-Fri 7:30-15:30
Pay Rates
* £13.50/h
As a PEV Mechanic you will need to have
1. Experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation industry
2. An electrical engineering or mechanic background - qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar are hugely advantageous
3. Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
4. Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows. iOS experience preferred
5. Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
6. Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others -teamwork is key to success!
Role of a PEV Mechanic
1. Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles
2. Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
3. Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
4. Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
5. Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
6. Safely operate a pallet jack and/or push cart on a frequent basis
7. Additional job related tasks as assigned
8. Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
