Accountant | Warrington | £40,000-£45,000 | Hybrid
I'm currently working with a large, well‑established organisation in Warrington who are in the early stages of exploring the addition of an Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ideally part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and looking to continue developing within a supportive, structured finance environment.
Role Responsibilities
1. Preparing monthly management accounts
2. Posting journals (accruals, prepayments, etc.)
3. Completing key balance sheet reconciliations
4. Maintaining the fixed asset register
5. Supporting VAT returns and statutory compliance
6. Assisting with year‑end processes and external audit
7. Producing monthly financial reports
8. Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records
9. Contributing to improvements in processes and internal controls
10. Supporting budgeting and period‑end requirements
Who this would suit:
11. Part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying
12. Strong grounding in core accounting principles
13. Experience in an accounting or month‑end environment
14. Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail
15. Someone looking to grow within a large organisation
Working Pattern & Benefits:
16. Hybrid working (office/home split)
17. 40 hours per week
18. 23 days holiday + bank holidays
19. Salary: 💷 £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
