The role of Healthcare Cleaning Professional is to support the smooth day to day operational running of our Hospital through achieving excellent cleaning standards that will provide a clean and safe healthcare environment that meets our patients’ expectations.
Part time Healthcare Cleaning Professional
6.30am - 9.30am Monday to Friday – 15hrs per week. There will be a requirement to work Bank Holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* General baseline cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, damp dusting, cleaning of toilets and bathrooms, and serving beverages to patients.
* Additional specialised cleaning duties such as infection prevention and control cleaning, as directed.
* Have a flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload and work in all areas of the hospital as instructed.
* Be customer service oriented – friendly and approachable.
* Be reliable with good time management.
* Have awareness of Infection Prevention and Control practices within a healthcare environment.
* Demonstrate the core capabilities and behaviours of the role.
* Be passionate about delivering a high‑quality service.
Qualifications & Experience
Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided. Uniform will be provided.
