Williams Racing is seeking an exceptional Aero Planner/Scheduler to join our dedicated team. This pivotal position sits at the intersection of aerodynamic innovation and production efficiency, ensuring our cutting-edge designs make it from concept to track with precision timing.
THE ROLE:
As our Aero Planner/Scheduler, you'll be the vital connection between our aerodynamics department and production teams, orchestrating the complex flow of wind tunnel projects through our manufacturing processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Master capacity forecasting for upcoming aerodynamic projects
* Process and schedule aero demand through sophisticated planning systems
* Collaborate with methods engineering to optimize production routings
* Be the key point of contact between aerodynamics and production teams
* Develop solutions to capacity challenges to keep projects on track
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* Proven scheduling experience with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) software
* Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
HOURS:
Monday to Friday (40 hours), with a requirement to cover some weekends during busy periods to ensure critical project deadlines are met.
