About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Norwich. The hospital has state-of-the-art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person-centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do. The service offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Support across a variety of operations including Orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery
* Prepare patients for surgery and care for patients undergoing procedures
* Review patient charts and confirm data
* Ensure medical equipment is prepared for surgery
* Monitor patients' condition throughout surgery
* Cover anaesthetic duties as required
* Support patients through their recovery period post-surgery
* Pass equipment to the surgeon
Who we’re looking for:
* Be NMC/HCPC registered with an active pin with no restrictions or conditions
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
* At least 2 years UK experience in scrub nursing or ODP role
* Experience working under minimal supervision
* Passion for high-quality care
* Excellent communication skills
