Are you an experienced private client lawyer with a passion for high-level Estates, Tax, and Trusts work? We are a prestigious Top 100 full-service UK firm seeking a driven Associate to join our acclaimed Private Client department in Bristol.
This is a "best of both worlds" role: you will handle sophisticated, challenging work for a high-net-worth client base while being part of a firm renowned for its "no-politics," supportive, and close-knit culture. Key Responsibilities
* Advisory Excellence: Provide specialist advice to HNW individuals on complex Wills, estate planning, and the creation and management of Trusts.
* Estate Administration: Lead the administration of high-value taxable estates, ensuring a seamless and empathetic service for executors and beneficiaries.
* Leadership & Support: Take an active role in the team, utilizing existing supervisory experience (or stepping into it as a development area) to mentor junior fee earners and support staff.
* Strategic Growth: Work alongside nationally recognized Partners to maintain our enviable reputation and facilitate cross-referral opportunities across our multi-office network.
* Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor, using an eloquent and clear communication style to support clients through their most significant life challenges.
About You
We hire for technical skill, but personality-specifically a mix of proactive passion, humour, and humility-is what makes our team successful.
* Experience: You will likely be at Associate level with a strong platform in Wills, probate, and tax planning. We are flexible on your specific focus area-if you are stronger in Trusts than Estates (or vice versa), we can adapt the role for the right person.
* Ambition: You are looking for a clear, structured progression pathway to Senior Associate and beyond.
* Skills: Excellent relationship management skills and a dependable, "team-first" work ethic.
