Job Brief

We are seeking a responsible and organised Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of Brynfield Manor Care Home. This role involves providing comprehensive clerical support to our managers and staff, coordinating daily administrative activities, and ensuring the office runs efficiently.

Our ideal candidate is highly organised, capable of multitasking with ease, and experienced in administrative roles such as Office Administrator, Secretary, or similar. Familiarity with office software—including payroll systems, Excel, pension spreadsheets, and presentation tools—is essential.

Ultimately, a successful Administrator will help ensure our office procedures are well-managed, efficient, and compliant with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Schedule and coordinate meetings and events
* Order and manage office supplies and stationery
* Maintain internal databases and filing systems
* Prepare and submit expense reports
* Maintain accurate employee records (both physical and digital)
* Manage files for clients, customers, and external partners
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail
* Prepare regular reports and presentations
* Organise, store, and print company documents as required
* Answer and redirect phone calls professionally
* Assist with payroll, pensions, and DBS compliance
* Handle staff and management queries promptly and professionally
* Review and update office policies, ensuring compliance

Requirements & Skills

* Proven experience in a similar role (e.g. Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Secretary)
* Proficient with office equipment and management tools
* Strong understanding of office policies and procedures
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Discreet, dependable, and able to work independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour
