Aerospace Engineer Degree Apprentice We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our highly skilled team. You will join our dynamic Apprenticeship Scheme within Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil. You will work alongside qualified and experienced Honeywell Engineers to develop your engineering skills whilst undertaking part time academic studies. You will modify designs and solutions to satisfy customers requirements etc. Closing date: April/May 2024 Apprenticeship summary Annual wage: £20,500 a year to start, with yearly wage increases over the 5 year Apprenticeship based on achievement. Working week: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Total hours per week: 37 hours a week Expected duration: 57 Months Possible start date: 01 Sep 2024 Apprenticeship level: Degree. Level 6 (Degree with honours) Positions: 2 positions available What will the apprentice be doing? Aerospace Apprentice Engineers will work primarily within a specific Engineering discipline such as Design, Research and Development, Stress Analysis, Performance Analysis and Project or Systems Engineering. You will focus on all aspects related to the full Engineering lifecycle of systems and products. You will be expected to Design Develop Specify Analyse Test Validate and Modify designs and solutions to satisfy customers requirements and in-service Operations What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? Degree level Aerospace Engineer apprenticeship standard includes: Level: 6 (integrated degree) BEng Aerospace engineering; BSc Aerospace engineering or other engineering degree that fully aligns to the KSBs on the apprenticeship Level: 4 EAL Diploma in engineering and advanced manufacturing (development competence) What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
