Join a global household business that owns many well-loved brands. We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join our team.
This role reports to the Head of Category Management and manages key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities. Candidates with a broad range of indirect category management experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing strategies for procurement, ensuring delivery and year-on-year savings
* Creating group-wide category plans and strategies for alignment across the organization
* Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders from Director to Board level
* Building relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
* Monitoring supplier performance and risk
* Living company values and promoting procurement excellence
* Overdelivering on strategic projects and ensuring high-quality service and cost efficiency
Requirements:
* Experience in indirect procurement within large, complex organizations
* Experience in categories such as Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics & Operations
* Private sector procurement experience, preferably in a global business
* Experience managing complex global projects with Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels
* Strategic approach to procurement and supplier management
* Excellent communication skills across cultures and regions
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
* MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
