The hotel has an opportunity
available for a Concierge Position.
Your duties will include:
* Provide a
friendly, professional, and personalized welcome to all guests.
* Handle guest
enquiries and requests efficiently in person, by phone, and in writing.
* Offer expert
knowledge of hotel services, facilities, events, and local attractions.
* Arrange
transportation, luggage handling, postal services, and special guest
requests.
* Ensure accurate
and secure handling of guest luggage, mail, packages, and keys.
* Maintain
awareness of arrivals and departures to anticipate guest needs.
* Use property
management systems (Opera / Opera Cloud) in line with procedures.
* Promote hotel
services and maximizee revenue through up-selling opportunities.
* Maintain
excellent personal presentation and service standards at all times.
* Support Porters,
and Front Office teams during busy periods.
* Attend training
and team meetings as required.
The ideal
candidate will have the following skills:
* Previous
experience as a Concierge in a luxury or 5-star hotel.
* Passionate about
delivering exceptional customer service.
* Confident
communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge
of the local area and attractions.
* Calm, organized,
and professional under pressure.
* Flexible to work
shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
If you can
demonstrate the following skills, that would be an advantage:
* Experience using
Opera / Opera Cloud PMS.
* Good industry
and local contacts.
* Full UK driving
license.
* Additional
languages.
Your hours of work:
* Reporting to the Front of House Manager, the
role is full-time, 40-hours per week. Working 5 out of 7, to a flexible rota
with a 30-minute break included.
