About the Pub The Prince of Wales is a great site, newly available and moving over from our managed estate to Craft Union. It is in the town centre of Chatham in Kent. opposite the Wetherspoons pub and close to the shops on the high street. Bags of character with the building and a function bar that is used as a late-night bar at weekends upstairs. The pub has great sport viewing and is busy for televised sport, there is a very good current rhythm of the week and has a good regular trade. We expect this pub to do fantastically for the Euros this summer. It also has great cask ale range with 7 hand pulls on the bar and a rotating range week to week. There is the upstairs bar 'Harry's' that is used at weekends and the site has a licence to go to 3am. This space can also be used for functions and meeting space to maximise sales opportunities. Regional Manager's Thoughts Regional Manager James believes “I am looking forward to this site transitioning from the managed part of the business to Craft Union, it will be a great Craft Union pub. It has lots of potential for more and being the best pub in Chatham.” Surrounding Area Chatham is in the Medway area of Kent and has great transport links to both London and the rest of the county. The train station is a few mins walk from the pub. The town centre is busy during the day with shoppers and the shopping centre close by. It is the next stop on the train to Rochester which has a good tourist trade throughout the year.
