Talent Management Business Partner, EMEA - Commercial, Data, IP Tech & Trade, Swindon, Wiltshire
Role purpose: To work collaboratively with the EMEA CDIT Practice Group Leaders (PGLs) and Business Managers (BMs) to accelerate practice group and individual lawyer performance and development, aligned with the strategic direction, vision, and values of EMEA. Assist the PGLs and BMs with people issues, working closely with the EMEA Director of Talent Management and other Practice Group Talent Management Business Partners for EMEA. Provide high-quality business partnering support to lawyers in the EMEA CDIT Practice Group.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Operate as a Business Partner for designated PGLs and BMs to understand their strategic needs related to their people.
2. Coordinate with office-based Talent Management and Recruitment business partners to deliver engagement, team planning, recruitment, mobility, talent reviews, performance management, career development, organizational development, and integration initiatives.
3. Support and coordinate the EMEA Talent Review process and work with PGLs on solutions for talent management.
4. Assist with performance management processes, evaluate results, and support career development coaching.
5. Follow up on surveys, improve engagement, and facilitate lateral partner integration.
6. Provide HR advisory support to PGLs on people issues and partner with leadership teams on People strategy and resources.
Travel occasionally may be required.
About the team
The Firm's People function includes Talent Management, Recruitment & Mobility, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity, Leadership & Learning, Partnership & Performance, and D&I Analytics. The team reports to the Director of Talent Management, EMEA, and collaborates with various internal teams.
Candidate requirements
Extensive HR/Talent Management experience, preferably in professional services, with strong communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and business acumen skills. Fluency in English and ability to work across multiple jurisdictions are essential. Personal qualities include integrity, diligence, resilience, and the ability to build relationships.
