Senior Mechanical Project Manager £75,000 – £85,000 depending on experience London Bridge area A well-established M&E contractor is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a circa £2m EPC mechanical installation and office fit-out project located near London Bridge. This role will suit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager who is comfortable taking full ownership of a project from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with commercial, design and site teams. The Role You will be responsible for managing the mechanical scope on a high-quality office fit-out, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and specification. Key responsibilities include: * Leading pre-tender and pre-start meetings with clients, consultants and internal teams * Managing site programmes, sequencing and coordination of mechanical works * Overseeing site teams and specialist subcontractors * Managing procurement of plant, materials and specialist packages * Driving value engineering and buildability solutions where appropriate * Managing variations, change control and supporting commercial reporting * Maintaining strong working relationships with the client, consultants and supply chain * Ensuring works comply with health and safety, quality and contractual requirements Project Scope The project includes full mechanical services installation, including heating systems, pipework, chilled water systems, and associated plant. Experience with modern low-carbon technologies such as heat pumps or solar-integrated systems would be advantageous. About You You will have a strong mechanical engineering background with proven experience delivering commercial fit-out or EPC-style projects.
