We are looking for a passionate Room Leader / Nursery Practitioner to lead a small team and create meaningful learning experiences that reflect each child's individual needs.
About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will create a warm, inclusive and stimulating space where children feel safe, valued and inspired. You will lead your team by example, ensuring high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support your room team with a nurturing, positive approach
* Plan engaging activities tailored to each child's stage of development (EYFS)
* Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
* Ensure safeguarding, welfare and risk assessments are consistently maintained
* Monitor children's progress and support their individual learning journeys
* Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming learning environment
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
* Experience in a nursery setting (room leader experience desirable)
* Warm, approachable and caring personality
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children's individual development
