Your new role
As an Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our service. Your role will be varied and dynamic, requiring flexibility and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the first point of contact for service users, external agencies, and staff, ensuring all queries are handled promptly and professionally. Managing correspondence, data entry, and maintaining accurate records. Taking minutes at meetings and preparing reports as required. Collating and monitoring data, statistics, and information for reporting purposes. Maintaining filing systems and ordering office supplies. Supporting financial processes, including petty cash management. Coordinating operational requirements such as room bookings and travel arrangements. Assisting with prescription administration duties. Ensuringpliance with organisational policies and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have knowledge of general office procedures and strong organisational skills, have IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems, have excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal, have attention to detail and solid numeric skills. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, remaining calm under pressure. You will always show empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards service users. You must have flexibility to adapt to changing demands and work across sites, amitment to confidentiality, equality, diversity, and positive oues for service users.
Previous experience in administration within a charity or similar environment is desirable for this role.
You must be happy to work full time in the office.
