Research Services Officer – Royal Holloway, University of London
Salary: £34,670 per annum – including London Allowance (subject to higher appointment for exceptional candidates).
Location: Egham, Surrey (University campus near Windsor Great Park).
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent – 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Closing Date: 23:59, 7 December 2025 GMT.
Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day operational support for research funding, including costing and submission of proposals.
* Manage acceptance process for new research awards and support academic staff through the grant application journey.
* Accurate administration of grant application data and maintain effective working relationships across the institution.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative position, ideally within research or higher education.
* Strong financial management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational and numerical abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across the institution.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
