About the Role As Strategy Director, you’ll lead a talented team of strategists and play a pivotal role in defining brand purpose, positioning, and architecture for clients. You’ll also drive campaign planning and ensure strategic thinking underpins every creative output. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on uncovering insights, spotting trends, and inspiring others with fresh thinking. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of strategists, fostering growth and collaboration. Develop brand propositions, positioning, and architecture for clients across multiple sectors. Oversee campaign planning and ensure alignment with client objectives. Facilitate workshops, write and present strategic decks, and contribute to pitches. Crafting brilliant propositions to provide clients with a competitive advantage to stand out to clients. Use research tools and insights to inform strategies, working with internal teams and external partners. Share knowledge and thought leadership through internal sessions and industry events. About You To be successful in your application you’ll be a Strategy Director with over 7 years experience of marketing strategy, insight and planning. You’ll have or be: Proven experience as a Strategy Director within a brand or creative agency. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. Expertise in brand strategy, architecture, and integrated campaign planning. Passionate about uncovering insights and sharing knowledge with others. Ability to communicate complex ideas to primary client contacts, both verbally and in writing to an exceptionally high standard Ability to generate and review vast amounts of research, synthesize and draw relevant conclusions Proficiency leading research efforts and working with a primary research agency, as well as developing our own research studies. Ability to craft and present a compelling narrative or story. Contributes to knowledge sharing by writing thought pieces or attending conferences. Comfortable leading and developing a team, as well as being part of the wider agency team. Marketing, branding, or campaign-related qualifications/courses are desirable. Ideally you’ll have worked with Higher Education, Public Sector or B2B clients. To be successful in your application you must worked with service providing clients.
