Defour Partnership is working closely with an award-winning National Social Care organization to recruit a Training Specialist (Learning and Development Specialist).
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and forward-thinking charity and be part of their Learning and Development team.
This role supports the North West Region, so you can be based anywhere across the region or surrounding areas.
The role involves delivering high-quality and engaging training to equip front-line colleagues with the skills and knowledge needed to ensure safety, wellbeing, and the best quality of life for the people they support.
The package includes a competitive salary of £24,000-£26,000, a £3,000 car allowance, and the possibility of a 4-day workweek.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Delivering training sessions on topics such as first aid, safeguarding, medication administration, and positive behavioral support techniques.
* Supporting the regional People team in delivering effective learning, either face-to-face or virtually.
* Utilizing the digital learning platform "Dare to Learn" to run reports and identify trends.
* Forecasting training needs and scheduling courses accordingly.
* Collaborating with local leaders to meet their team’s learning requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
* Engaging storytelling skills to make training relatable.
* Quick learner of new systems and technology.
* Extensive experience in leading and facilitating training sessions or a relevant qualification such as SVQ L3 in Health and Social Care, Train the Trainer, or assessor certification.
* Strong IT skills.
* Full UK driving license for travel.
