General Operative - Concrete Finisher
We are currently looking to hire an experienced General Operative - Concrete Finisher to join our project at Sellafield on the KDP8 Framework.
Role
The General Operative - Concrete Finisher role involves setting concrete forms to correct depth, placing, spreading and finishing the concrete using professional techniques, and adhering to health and safety and wellbeing policies. The role supports Build Sure and SRM values, culture and behaviours on the project.
Responsibilities
* Set concrete forms to correct depth.
* Place, spread and finish concrete using professional techniques.
* Follow all health and safety and wellbeing policies.
* Actively promote Build Sure and SRM values, culture and behaviours on the project.
Essential Skills and Experience
* CSCS Blue Card (with relevant Concrete finishing VQ)
* Level 2 in Concrete Finishing
* Power tools
* Face Fit Tested
* Working at Heights
* Asbestos Awareness
* IOSH Working Safely
* Positive working culture with consistent behaviours and conduct – assessment may be carried out as part of the interview selection process
* Strong communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Full UK Driving license as transport to site will not be provided.
* Experience of working in a nuclear environment.
