Job Title: Gateman / Material Controller
Location: Herne Bay, Kent
Skilled Careers are currently looking for a reliable Gateman / Material Controller to join a busy construction site in Herne Bay.
Duties will include:
Controlling site access and signing visitors in and out
Managing deliveries and ensuring materials are directed to the correct areas
Keeping accurate records of materials coming on and off site
Assisting with general site organisation and cleanliness
Communicating effectively with site management and delivery drivers
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card and Gateman ticket (Standard ticket, NPORS or CPCS)
Previous experience as a Gateman or Material Controller preferred
Good communication and organisational skills
Punctual, reliable, and safety conscious
Ability to work well as part of a team
Details:
Pay rate - £16.18 per hour
Ongoing work for the right candidate
Start date - Monday 5th January 2026
