Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Medication administration and care planning
* Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents
* Ensuring safeguarding principles are maintained
* Taking responsibility as Nurse in charge during shifts
* Team management and shift planning
* Infection prevention and control
* Liaising with GPs and multidisciplinary teams
* Upholding clinical governance standards
About you
We seek compassionate, dedicated individuals committed to enhancing residents' quality of life. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential. Experience is preferred but not required; we support your career development with tailored training.
Essential requirements:
* Recognised Nursing qualification by the UK NMC
* Valid UK NMC PIN and registration as RGN, RNLD, or RMN
* Ability to assist residents with mobility and perform physical tasks
Additional skills:
* Strong clinical decision-making and care planning
* Experience with blood tests, medication administration, and understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and deprivation of liberty safeguards
Role is subject to DBS checks for safety.
