What we’re looking for:
* Experience with SEND:A background in supporting children with SEMH needs, tailoring your approach to meet individual requirements.
* Key skills:Patience, empathy, strong communication, and adaptability.
* Preferred qualifications:De-escalation skills and Team Teach training are desirable but not essential.
* Commitment:A passion for creating inclusive, supportive environments for all pupils.
Your responsibilities as a SEMH Teaching Assistant will include:
* 1:1 interventions:Providing targeted support to help pupils engage with their learning.
* Adaptations:Assisting in creating classroom environments where every child can thrive.
* Communication:Supporting pupils in expressing their needs and working closely with teachers and parents.
* Record keeping:Monitoring progress and ensuring detailed documentation for each pupil.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
